The President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, welcomed the Foreign Minister of Turkey, Hakan Fidan, in the capital of his country, Baku, on Tuesday. This meeting took place during Fidan's two-day visit to Azerbaijan.
Exchange of Friendly Messages
During this meeting, Fidan conveyed the warm messages of the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, to Aliyev. The President of Azerbaijan also thanked Fidan and asked him to convey his good messages to Erdoğan.

Additionally, officials from both countries pointed out the logistical importance of Azerbaijan and Turkey and emphasized their roles as a key bridge between Europe and Asia. They also stressed the importance of coordinating activities within the framework of international organizations.
Discussion of Regional Issues
In this meeting, in addition to bilateral relations, officials discussed regional issues and other matters of mutual interest. This meeting reflects the two countries' willingness to strengthen relations and closer cooperation in various fields.
