Rising Tensions in the West Bank
Israeli attacks and military operations in the cities and villages of the West Bank occur frequently, contributing to rising tensions in the region. Since October 2023, following the outbreak of war by Israel against the Gaza Strip, these tensions have significantly escalated, and military attacks and gunfire towards Palestinians in various areas of the West Bank continue unabated. In this context, the Palestinian Red Crescent had previously announced that another Palestinian was severely injured and in critical condition.
Israeli military operations typically involve searching and inspecting homes, detaining individuals, and shooting at residents. Such actions continue while the international community has expressed concern over human rights violations in these areas.
