Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education of Egypt, met and discussed with Eric Chovellier, the French Ambassador to Egypt, on Tuesday, September 24, 1405 (September 15, 2026). The purpose of this meeting was to explore ways to expand cooperation in the field of technical education and utilize French expertise to improve programs and prepare students for the job market.

Improving Technical Education in Egypt

Abdel Latif stated in these negotiations that the Ministry of Education of Egypt is working to improve technical education and applied technology schools. He emphasized that this ministry intends to align training with the needs of employers in Egypt and abroad. These efforts include developing educational programs using French standards and providing access to international diplomas and certificates for students.

The Minister of Education of Egypt added that such programs would help graduates find better job opportunities in local, regional, and international markets.
