Mohamed Abdel-Aty, Egypt's Minister of Education and Technical Education, met with Iwai Fumio, Japan's Ambassador to Egypt, to explore ways to promote bilateral cooperation in the education sector. During this meeting, Abdel-Aty referred to the strategy of Egypt's Ministry of Education to integrate Japanese educational experiences, particularly Tokkatsu activities, which aim to cultivate students' social skills, teamwork, and individual responsibility.

Cooperation with Japan in Education

The Egyptian Minister of Education emphasized in this meeting that Japan is considered a key partner in this strategy, as the country has robust experiences and an integrated approach to developing the educational process that aligns with Egypt's future priorities and goals. Abdel-Aty added that cooperation with Japan could significantly enhance the quality of education in Egypt.

Expanding Educational Programs and Sharing Experiences

In this meeting, both sides also examined opportunities to expand teacher training programs, facilitate the exchange of teaching methods, and adopt innovative student activities that respond to labor market needs and national development goals. These actions could help improve teachers' professional qualifications and equip students with the necessary skills to enter the job market.

Iwai Fumio, Japan's Ambassador, also affirmed his country's commitment to supporting Egypt's educational development and continuing cooperation in this field. The presence of high-ranking officials from the Ministry of Education and the Japanese Embassy in Cairo at this meeting reflects both parties' serious attention to strengthening educational and cultural relations.
