This meeting was held to discuss recent developments in the region, particularly the situation in Lebanon in the face of external threats.
Condemnation of the Attacks by the Zionist Regime
Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif strongly condemned the recent attacks by the Zionist regime on Lebanon during this meeting, deeming them a blatant violation of human rights and international principles. He emphasized that such actions only lead to increased tensions in the region and endanger peace and stability. The Prime Minister of Pakistan called for solidarity and support from the international community for Lebanon against these threats.
Strengthening Bilateral Relations between Pakistan and Lebanon
During this meeting, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and Ahmad al-Hajjar also emphasized the importance of enhancing cooperation in economic, security, and cultural fields. The Prime Minister of Pakistan, referring to the historical relations between the two countries, expressed hope that these relations would move towards further development and progress. Al-Hajjar also appreciated Pakistan's support for Lebanon during difficult times and stressed the necessity for more cooperation in various areas.
This meeting comes at a time when Lebanon is in a sensitive situation due to internal economic and political crises as well as external threats. Additionally, the repeated attacks by the Zionist regime on various areas of Lebanon have raised significant concerns among the people and government of Lebanon. Shahbaz Sharif, emphasizing the necessity of supporting the rights of the Lebanese people, called for greater international attention to the situation in this country.
