A Parallel World of the Wealthy
Klein's book begins with a scene at the summit of a mountain where two "loyal" men hold a gathering to present their views. This perspective paints a picture of a paradise city where there is no need for weapons and all its inhabitants are wealthy. One of these men, with tears in his eyes, describes the beauty of this city. These two men are none other than Jared Kushner and Steven Witkoff, envisioning the year 2026, when this paradise city is called "New Gaza."
A Graveyard for Empires
The World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, has always had two objectives: one is to provide a platform for the wealthy to speak about their philanthropic efforts regarding poverty and climate change, and the other is a showcase of their fairy-tale lives.
