Discussion on Educational and Research Coordination

During this meeting, Khaled Abdel Ghaffar engaged in discussion with Salma Al-Bakri, head of the NCERI Technical Secretariat, and Mahmoud Hamza, a member of the secretariat. The spokesperson for the Ministry of Health, Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, announced that this session focused on examining the role of the NCERI in coordinating education, scientific research, and innovation. It was also emphasized that this council should focus on training skilled professionals to keep pace with scientific and technological developments.

Developing Cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Technical Training

Continuing this discussion, the topic of cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Technical Training was raised to develop technical education and coordination regarding the national framework of competencies and skills and the national labor market indicators. Officials also examined possible collaborations with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to develop new academic specialties. Additionally, plans for establishing a research and studies unit within the NCERI Technical Secretariat and a committee for evaluating and developing university and pre-university education were discussed.
