While the medical community and hemophiliac patients in Iran are seeking to improve treatment and medical facilities, the Hemophilia Association has reported on the concerning situation of over four thousand hemophiliac patients in the country. These patients are in dangerous conditions due to multiple reasons, including a lack of medication and inadequate access to appropriate treatments.
Serious Challenges and Indifference of Officials
According to the officials of this association, many hemophiliac patients are forced to endure excruciating pain and suffering due to the absence of essential medications and high treatment costs. Meanwhile, the lack of attention from officials to this crisis could have irreparable consequences for these patients.
Additionally, the Hemophilia Association has criticized the insufficient awareness regarding hemophilia and the needs of patients, emphasizing the necessity for urgent actions to improve the situation of these patients. In this context, it is expected that responsible authorities will address this issue with greater seriousness and prevent further pain and suffering imposed on this vulnerable group.
