Hakim: Iraq Cannot Be a Base for Threats to Neighboring Countries

The leader of the National Wisdom Movement in Iraq emphasized the necessity of adhering to the constitution and not turning Iraq into a base for threats to its neighbors.

The leader of the National Wisdom Movement in Iraq, during a meeting with the President of the country, emphasized that Iraq cannot act as a passageway or a starting point for threats to neighboring countries. These statements come at a time when regional tensions and concerns about the security of Iraq's borders have increased.

The Necessity of Adhering to the Constitution

In this meeting, Hakim emphasized the importance of adhering to the Iraqi constitution and said: "We must ensure that Iraq is recognized as an independent and stable country in the region. We are obligated to protect the sovereignty of the country and maintain the security of its borders. Iraq should not become a starting point for threats against its neighbors."

These statements come at a time when Iraq, due to its geographical position, has always attracted the attention of neighboring countries and major powers. Hakim added: "We must demonstrate through our actions that Iraq seeks peace and stability in the region and will never act as a threat to other countries."

Security and Political Challenges

Iraq faces multiple security and political challenges, part of which relate to external influences and the activities of terrorist groups. Hakim stated: "We must continue to cooperate with neighboring countries and strive to strengthen regional security. Any instability in Iraq can have negative impacts on all neighboring countries."

According to him, Iraq must become a successful model for regional cooperation and, in this regard, requires active diplomacy and joint cooperation. "We are striving to establish friendly relations with our neighbors based on mutual respect."

Hakim, referring to the historical relations of Iraq with neighboring countries, emphasized the importance of diplomacy and dialogue in resolving issues and said: "Only through dialogue and cooperation can we achieve peace and security in the region. Iraq should be recognized as a constructive country in the region."

These statements by Hakim come at a time when some neighboring countries have expressed concerns about the military and political activities of Iraq. These concerns are mainly due to the presence of armed groups and internal political disputes in Iraq that could affect regional security.

Many analysts believe that Iraq currently needs a comprehensive strategy to address its security and political challenges and should move towards strengthening relations with neighboring countries. Hakim also pointed to the importance of economic and cultural cooperation in this regard and said: "We must seek to create communication bridges with neighboring countries."

In conclusion, the leader of the National Wisdom Movement in Iraq emphasized that the security and stability of Iraq is important not only for this country but for all countries in the region, and everyone must strive in this direction.
